Programs for the Windows 95 Version of Invisible LAN

Filename Description
W95_8029.EXE
(82K)
Windows 95 driver for PCI Ethernet adapters with the Realtek 8029 controller chip.

This driver works with the adapter independent version of Invisible LAN for Windows 95. It lets you use PCI Ethernet adapters that have the Realtek 8029 controller chip. These adapters are often advertised as "NE2000 compatible" PCI adapters.

Note: Some early versions of the Windows 95 driver for Realtek 8029 did not work properly with Invisible LAN. We have found that some card manufacturers are distributing these early drivers that don't work with Invisible LAN. If you have trouble using the Windows 95 driver that came with your card, try using this driver instead. The driver in W95_8029 has been tested with Invisible LAN and verified to work. Also, check out Realtek's web site to get the very latest driver.
